We are officially 9 days away from our due date. We are trying to stay patient, but we just cannot help being so excited and anxious to meet our little one. We cannot believe that in just a week and a half we will have another part of the pack :). Jade and Gryffin are extremely excited too. They love sitting with me in the baby's room, just waiting for him to come. We have finished setting up the nursery. He is all set, clothes washed, diaper bag packed, car seat installed, all we need now is him. While we wait for the baby to arrive, the dogs and I teach the little guy about Bob Dylan.

Gryff is especially restless. He cannot wait to play with his little brother!

Well its officially been too long since we updated everyone. We moved back to the Twin Cities, so we have been very busy finding a place to live, and all the things that come with a move... new vet, new doctor, new you name it! We are getting really close to the babies due date and are getting very excited to meet him.

We were able to go on a small vacation in July to celebrate 1 year of married life! We went up to Lutsen with the dogs, and sadly were unable to hike this year, but... we did get to do a lot of other fun things like swim with the dogs and go to an art festival. Some pics from our trip:

I missed a week, or two of posting! AHHH!!! Our internet has been down for the past two weeks. Loads of fun. Well we are heading into week 24 of the pregnancy this week. I feel great. Lots of energy and I feel ahead of the game right now on what we will need to purchase for baby :). I don't think I will feel like that for long though, so I am relishing in that for now. We are getting really excited to meet the little man. We are still very uncertain about names, we have a good list of names, we will just have to choose from that when the time comes.

This past weekend, Kyle and I went up to the twin cities to help my parents move into their rental. It is really really cute! We were also able to go to Baby Grand, and register. It is such a cute little shop on Grand avenue in St. Paul. (babyongrand.com) We also registered at Babies-R-Us. So... that is taken care of :). I am sure we will feel like we are scrambling around here toward the end of the pregnancy, but like I said before we feel pretty prepared right this moment.

The weekend was great, we haven't been to the cities for almost 2 months. We did a lot of visiting with family. The dogs got to play with their Uncle Nigel. The dogs are doing fantastic. Still a little hyper at times, but they are only 1 and 2 years old. I really think they are going to be amazing with the baby. Jaden has taken on a very protective role over me as my tummy gets bigger. She follows me every
where and never wants to leave my side. Gryffin on the other hand, well he just doesn't want to be near me at all right now. (I think he is scared of my stomach :)) I have a couple pictures I took of them this weekend on our way to the cities. They were hilarious in the car. Gryffin, now a 60+ pound golden retriever crawled/nestled his way into the back window of the car and rode the entire way on the back ledge. He used to do this when he was just a puppy, but it was hilarious seeing him do it now that he is so big. People were laughing and honking they thought he was a site. We let Jaden stick her head out the window the whole ride. She was a happy dog.

For all of you who were patiently awaiting the baby belly pictures. Here they finally are. Jaden and Gryf thought they were part of the photo shoot! They were cracking us up.

This weekend was a lot of fun. Kyle and I finally bought a new bed frame :) I am really excited about it. It is a sleigh style bed, and I think Jaden will be able to fit better underneath it, considering that is her favorite place to sleep.

Not much else is going on this week, just take a look at the pictures. I am still trying to figure out how to get ultra sound video uploaded, wish me luck with that one!

What a fantastic weekend!

Kyle and I spent Saturday morning at garage sales. We found a couple of cute outfits from Baby Gap that have never been worn. I have been able to feel the baby kicking a little bit more this weekend.

On Sunday we took the dogs for a long walk up in the bluffs. They had so much fun and only brought home one tick which we lit on fire.

This week is the official 20 week marker for the pregnancy. I cannot believe we are at the halfway point already. I am so excited to start feeling the little guy move more, and to actually see him.

Every picture that we take of the belly is downright unflattering, that's why none of you have seen belly pics yet. Just keep an eye out. I will try to be more photogenic.

'Till next time... Take care.

Well, I must first start off by saying that I feel computer illiterate so as this is my very first blog spot, please bare with me. I hope to be a seasoned blogger in no time :). A few of my friends have blogs, and I always love reading them. What a great way to keep everyone updated at once.

Speaking of updates, as many of you know by now, Kyle and I are expecting our first little one on September 7th. We are so excited for our little addition to our quickly growing family. We will be very busy come September with the two dogs (Jaden and Gryffin) and a little baby.

Last week was our 18 week check-up. Everything is looking really good. We found out we will be having a baby boy. We are going to work on getting some belly and ultra-sound pictures up soon. The little guy is a mover and a shaker already.

I do hope to get a post up weekly, but you all know how that goes, so just check back occasionally, I will be updating the page frequently as our new arrival grows and joins us in the world.
